Climate Dialogue Archive announcement

From November 2012 till February 2015, Climate Dialogue offered a platform for discussions between mainstream and sceptic climate scientists about important climate topics.

The Climate Dialogue website was “frozen” after the publication of the end-report in February 25th and the content has not been changed in any way since, in accordance with the wishes of KNMI and PBL who were responsible for the site during the discussions.

On February 1st 2018, Stichting Milieu, Wetenschap & Beleid (Environment, Science & Policy Foundation) has agreed to facilitate the ClimateDialogue.org archive on its site. As far as technically possible, the original site has been transfered to the new platform unchanged, enabling a secure maintenance of the site for an indefinite period.

I hope you will appreciate the many valuable insights that have been preserved in this archive.

Official Announcement

The Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment stopped financing Climate Dialogue, at which point both PBL Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency and the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI) stopped their involvement in this project. The blog ClimateDialogue will remain online until 1 January 2016 and Marcel Crok will take on the responsibility for its continuation. Neither PBL nor KNMI will be responsible for any text written after 1 January 2015.

Dialogues

Climate Dialogue offers a platform for discussions between (climate) scientists on important climate topics that are of interest to both fellow scientists and the general public. The goal of the platform is to explore the full range of views that scientists have on these issues.
